A Parks and Recreation Special The highlight for me was the episode 'Kicking Bishop Brennan up the arse' which is the brilliant follow up from the previous episode where Father Ted is caught cheating during a very funny football match. Of course, that's what's expected in the life of Father Ted. Luckily for Ted, he has the faithful presence of Dougal and Jack plus an endless supply of Mrs Doyle's tea to help him cope.

Having enjoyed the Father Ted series in the U K,I wanted my American friends to share the experience and thanks to Amazon,this was possible.For those new to the comedy,I can only say you will not be disappointed,it is highly amusing,skilfully-performed by the actors involved(it could so easily be overdone)and of a high standard.The viewers already familiar with the show will find this series to be the best of them all with some classic characters such as the enthusiastic Father Noel and Pat Mustard the randy milkman.The writers have created bizarre and surreal situations which include,spectacle-stealing crows and an over seventies five-a-side-soccer competition.I have wondered whether a similar situation with protestant priests would work as well but my Catholic friends assure me it would not. Both Dermot and Ardal are fantastic, and play well off of each other. Disaster threatens when Ted and Dougal's attempt to bolster Chris' confidence with some soothing mood music leads to their woolly friend going ...Mrs Doyle has a new fancy man in her life, Pat Mustard the milkman. Clever and well written - though with a light touch The Other One: Season 1 Unfortunately a slight misunderstanding over some expenses sends Ted back to his old compadres on the isalnd. Pat has been delivering more than just milk. One of my all time favourite comedies, and series three is in my opinion the best of them all. I would definitely recommend this series.

The Last Dance: Season 1 After a spot of lad's housecleaning results in Ted being mistakenly tarred as a racist, Ted holds aTed finally escapes to a new posting at Castlelawn Parochial House, Dublin, with civilised company and frequent jaunts to Paris.
