There are a lot of breweries in VT. My wife and I stood in line for a half hour when one of the employees said we were looking at a a 2 hour wait for a growler fill.

The brewery is remote in the Green Mountains but well worth the visit. "How much would u suggest if buying a gift certificate for a couple?Of course it dep on what you want to spend but Id do $50 as $25 wont get a whole lot. Shawn Hill is one of them. Long live Hillfarmstead. Back in the day it was smaller with no tasting room, just a line and samples while you waited ( with a pretty long wait time to fill). Every time I travel to Vermont I am coming to HF. They have expanded their retail area so you have a greater chance of not waiting in the cold but expect a 45 min-2 hour wait during busy times.

The setting is breathtaking, family & Dog friendly. Even more reason for us Beer Hunters to go somewhere special. Came in with a group for a bachelor party, were very polite but got put through the wringer by the bartender for coming with a group.
