Drag star Bianca Del Rio is joining the cast of Everybody's Talking About JamieThe RuPaul’s Drag Race winner takes over the role of Hugo — also known as drag legend Loco Chanelle — from Shane Richie on May 6 for just six weeks.Del Rio joins the cast at the same time as Steps singer and Strictly Come Dancing finalist stars as Jamie New, a boy from Sheffield who dreams of being a drag queen and wearing a dress to prom.The musical has a book and lyrics by Tom MacRae and music by The Feeling’s Dan Gillespie Sells. She’s previously performed in her own sold-out tours across the UK and is about to become the first drag queen to ever headline London’s Wembley Arena with a solo show.As well as previously performing in three solo stand-up tours (and currently touring her fourth), Bianca has also appeared in two feature films (both available on Netflix), and recently wrote her first book: Blame It On Bianca Del Rio: The Expert on Nothing With an Opinion on Everything.Bianca will take over the role of Hugo/Loco Chanel from Shane Richie on 6 May.
