There are quizzes for every chapter which we spend half a class period reviewing for (super easy). Dr. Evan Palmer is an Associate Professor of Psychology at San José State University and Graduate Coordinator of the Research & Experimental Psychology MA program.

Palmer is intelligent and really passionate about what he teaches. Taken his 2 classes. I would recommend him! He is really nice and just wants students to understand the subject. Level of Difficulty. It's important to go to class b/c not everything is covered in the book.

Slides are posted and lectures complement his slides very nicely.This is a manageable class if you know the right way to study for tests and complete all assignments on time. Find & rate your professors or school! Long lectures that he kind of breezes through. Would take again.

He is also EXTREMELY pretentious. She is extremely caring and love what she does. He is also a member of the MS program in Human Factors/Ergonomics. If you need a gen ed, I highly recommend taking his psych lecture!Dr. Would totally recommend him. Palmer is very knowledgeable; the problem I had with this class was that it was just a lot of material crammed into every lecture and it was hard to catch up when I fell behind. dont bother with the textbook. One downside is that there are only two tests, a midterm and a final.Prof. He offered three precent extra credit to the entire course grade for doing very simple assignments. Easiest A of my college career. (Usually involves going to an event that relates to cognition). Weekly quizzes are SO helpful and many of the questions show up on the test. Probably will mention he is a cognitive psychologist twice per class. It's a manageable and interesting class. Many questions are the same exact ones on the final. Weekly quizzes are easy if you go to class and super helpful for exams. Just study the slides he posts because the study guide will give you anxiety1Quiz/each chapter, 1 research paper (on an illusion), 1 midterm, 1 final. All he does is lecture and talk out of his ass about things that are so irrelevant to the topic of what we're suppose to learn. Just don't skip class.Easy course as long as you show up every class and do the quizzes every Friday and study.Dr Palmer is very helpful, he makes the concepts clear in class itself.
