The burger was still very good, it's the toppings that make it so. If you can get a holiday reservation elsewhere, I would highly recommend it. Very CLEAN and modern.

One person in our party didn't get her dinner until the rest of us had finished ours....Went for Easter buffet. They have a large bar, a beautiful back room and outdoor seating with a view of a lake and fountain. We ended up leaving.Five of us went to MJ's (formerly the Buttonwood Manor) for Thanksgiving dinner. MJs knows how to make it savory delicious, and know what? The bartender w the tattoo on arm was yelling at who I can assume was the boss making  a scene....if u wanna have a relaxing day after work I suggest u drive pass MJS. Staff was helpful. I really enjoy coming here for both food & drinks - everything I've ordered has always been top notch. But anytime I get a chance to go to MJ’s I take it...Went in for dinner with friends, ordered a steak medium rare it came out over cooked and dry. Who knew we'd find this little gem in Matawan. We so need and want a great pub/american food place nearby but sorry, this just isn't it. Told manager they didn’t seem to care, I made sure to let them know I would never go back there.The worst service. We've eaten here many times, next time we go I'll upload some photos. I mean, even the onion rings were tasteless and soggy.
