Parking was included and plenty of spaces, room was modern and clean with a nice bathroom that wasn't a cookie cutter hotel bathroom, hotel staff nice, breakfast quality, dining area clean, and location good. I would definitely stay here again! We figured out that if you take it off energy saver mode at night, the room was cooled and eventually the sound becomes white noise without the constant cycling of on/off. The room was a corner suite on the top floor and had views of the park (just like the name of the hotel would suggest). I told the lady at reception and she said no Irish channels I said isn't that strange she said it was no other comment.,,,,, Spacious room, spotlessly clean. Check around the edges of the box springs. The cafe connected to the property is perfect for a quick bite. She did the same for another couple that came in.

We stayed one night and visited the university.

I had to stay overnight in Syracuse 7 different nights between October 2018 and February 2019. Price high for a Best Western.Maybe the location and events made it high. I couldn't put restaurant bill on room, but hope they fix that for the future. The front desk people were very nice. Located near university (if that is on your to-do list). New rooms. Breakfast was just okay. I'm still trying to figure out what to do with everything. Ok/normal hotel breakfast. In terms of bedding, the pillows were great, there were some thinner and thicker for you to choose and they actually retained their shape. Classic elevators, lobby and rooms made it a nice experience that brings back the feeling of what it must have been like back in Syracuse's booming times. Then he took away the remote. There is also environmentally friendly soap, shampoo and conditioner.

for seniors, or those who need the services of a bellman, forget this place, no one there... finally, after making two trips, I got my bags into the room, but had nothing but problems with the key card, it wouldn't open the door to my room.

Would definitely return. Breakfast is reasonable Rooms are clean and spacius.

Room location was extremely noisy, literally right behind the front desk. The lobby, restaurant, and bar are all well appointed and done well. Upstairs, our handsome guest rooms are spacious and relaxing. We will be using this hotel for all our future visits. The hotel was Clean.

Excellent service and price for a hotel in the $150 per night range. The building was built in 1926 and was originally all doctors offices. Overall good service and a convenient location. Parking is in the rear (It's located on a city street so there is no drive up area to park, go inside to register and drop off luggage) and you have to walk around to the front with luggage to come into the building, so on a cold or rainy day that can be unpleasant. The location is very convenient and the rooms are nice for a mid priced hotel in the northeast. Normally it would not have been a big deal however we were all meeting to go over to the venue for the wedding! You don't even need to enter a password or sign on, it's automatic. We will definitely be staying at the Parkview! The free parking is in a small lot behind the building. Big mistake!

Driving through New York and needed a place to retire for the evening. .

Ambient heat from surrounding rooms?) They are going to be smaller than a newer hotel and the bathrooms are “cozy.” Nonetheless, everything functioned as it should, the complimentary breakfast will leave you full, parking was free (!)

We checked in after 8:30 and were traveling 11 plus hours otherwise we would have looked for an alternative hotel. Helpful staff. There was also some noise from nearby I-81. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of.

This turned out to be SUPER CONVENIENT. (She was on the phone with a customer, which is to be expected, but she never once made eye contact, smiled or acknowledged in any way that I had come into the lobby and was standing at the desk until she finally got off the phone. So we didnt look it up much before the celebration we just reserved it and that was that. Style and Sophistication in Downtown Syracuse. Hotel is clean. Parkview Hotel was a refreshing and positive experience. Classic heat/cool/air issues. Hot breakfast was included.

This allowed my wife and I to take advantage of the lounge and tv areas, which were rarely occupied, to enjoy some quiet time by the fire while our daughter napped.

Pluses included no reports of bedbugs on two online bedbug registry sites, quiet halls during sleeping hours (I didn't experience any of the usual nightly annoyances such as loud voices in the hall and slamming doors), on-site parking, and a short drive to the airport. They have parking in lot behind the building, entrance is narrow from E Genesee st, better to enter from Forman Ave. The rooms are understated, quiet and comfortable, and every inch is immaculately clean. The room looked out over the eponymic park but the outside of the window was so dirty that it was hard to see much. We didn't have breakfast which was included, so I can not comment on breakfast.
