A must for one seeking great restaurants in Minneapolis.A special shout out to Marcus, who was our server. Perhaps we need to try it again....IF WE CAN EVER GET A RESERVATION!!! Delicious! The carrot salad was fabulous. James Beard award winning Chef Gavin Kaysen leads his team on a nightly basis to bring you casual and delicious food. The Bison Tartare and the Gnocchi are must have items. The decor is lovely and there was a buzzing crowd when we arrived for our Thursday evening reservation.

He was outstanding....as is the entire dining experience. The cuisine is focused on the seasonality … it is foodie heaven, with every course and really every dish so tempting it is hard to choose just a few. He loved the food and being able to see into the kitchen. !Enjoyed the seasonal cocktail the gin & tonic & cheese plate.

Service was highly attentive without being a burden. Finally, since we'd been traveling all day we kept to the non alcoholic drinks which were amazing - It's nice to be able to get a sexy cocktail without alcohol!We were fortunate enough to sit at the chef's table overlooking the kitchen.

Wine list is thoughtful and expansive (perhaps too expansive).Spoon & Stable is, without a doubt, the top restaurant in Minneapolis proper! I don't like my food overseasoned , but they barely added any.Food was absolutely fabulous.

We like the ambiance too.As usual I wasn't disappointed!! Our two vegetarians were quite pleased and the snapper was divine according to our other diner.

Lots of nice small touches like excellent breads. I will definitely recommend this placeWe are new to Minneapolis and had a fantastic meal at Spoon and Stable.

Spoon and Stable is a restaurant located in what was once a horse stable, dating back to 1906, in the heart of the North Loop Neighborhood. Service, impeccable.Spoon and Stable was our first dinner stop on our culinary tour of Minneapolis. It is a place that Minnesotans will enjoy for the quality of the meal, the attentive but not assertive staff - and a great place to celebrate anything. The place was very loud so maybe not an ideal place to go with a group or older people. Oh, I forgot about the pastry chef and her creations!!

It is the dream of Chef/Owner Gavin Kaysen, a James Beard award-winning chef to bring his talents back home to Minneapolis, where he grew up.

No real complaints.The food was outstanding. She was amazing, helpful, and very funny!Celebrated our wedding anniversary here. He is a chef himself, so he thoroughly enjoyed watching them hard at work. I had the pumpkin chiboust for dessert which was excellent - A nice blend of seasonal flavors. Highly recommend the honey cake (don’t recall the exact name) for desert. From juicy burgers, tantalizing salads and sandwiches to mouthwatering desserts, there is something for everyone on the menu. The finest we've experienced with our server being top notch. SNAP PEA SALAD* daikon, sunflower, crispy pheasant egg, parmigiano vinaigrette 14 (veg) BISON TARTARE* harissa aioli, watermelon radish, cilantro, dried olive, socca 16 (gf/df) HERITAGE GRAIN PASTA.

My husband and I ate here for our anniversary recently. Tough to get in on a weekend but always worth the wait. Spoon and Stable is a downtown Minneapolis restaurant created by James Beard Award-Winning Chef, Gavin Kaysen. Sent back a corked bottle of wine and they handled it well. I had the pumpkin chiboust for dessert which was excellent - A nice blend of seasonal flavors. Then, do have the Burrata and the Duck.

For the first time ever, I ordered pheasant and it was superb. Food and experience were wonderful.one fish entree was a little under cooked (the middle was a little gelatinous), but overall a great mealThis was our first time to this restaurant which was long overdue as we've had tons of friends recommend. The pastries are quite average.Best brunch in the Cities!
