At times it is difficult to tell at first whether the character portrayed is Zoe, River or Inara (even though they are quite distinct individually) and a few times between Mal and Simon who are also quite different appearance wise. Except, Disney is buying all of the non-Fox news portion of Fox media so that means that Boom! I want that page count, Goodreads!This feels like a second-rate episode of the TV series, and only half the story. comics does is going to be a minor issue. Mal and Inara are together. The high point comes in the short story where a direct quote from the movie is used to powerful emotional effect.

This is supposedly set after the Serenity movie. When a call for help to find a missing friend takes them to an Alliance post on the Outer Rim, they encounter a new force building strength to fight the battle of the Browncoats--soon leading the crewmembers to question their individual values . It was certainly very popular among science fiction fans during those years, as was the Serenity movie that was released in 2005. Overall the story is fairly well fleshed out. But this is only the beginning of the story. The story takes place after the events of graphic novel 4: Leaves on the Wind. Something must be going right in the world for there to be new Firefly material and this run did not disappoint. Mal and Inara are together. Convincing portraiture takes quality time, precisely because we're so good at recognizing individuals, and I think they've struck a good balance here, giving characters a thorough rendering at key points.
